Weeks of Welcome 2015 – Saturday Events – 8/29/2015

First Year Move-in Day!

Welcome to BSU!  For those who are resident students, please refer to the assigned move-in times sent to your BSU email in July by the Office of Residence Life and Housing.  A reminder email will be sent to you at the end of August.  Please contact the Office of Residence Life and Housing directly with any questions related to move-in:  (508) 531-1277.

The following are the events happening around campus on this day!

10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Welcome to Campus Block Party (University Park)

Forget some items for your residence hall you might need?  Stop by the Welcome to Campus Block Party in University Park to check out some additional items you may want for your room! Stop by between 11 am-3 pm for a chance to dunk your Orientation Leader (OL) in the dunk tank. Get a personalized laundry bag or take a photo to commemorate the day.

10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Information Central (Dunn Conference, Crimson Hall)

This is an opportunity to take care of final college business. Staff from Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Registrar, Student Employment, Academic Achievement Center, Information Technology and ResNet will be available to answer questions and resolve any issues.

5:30 – 7:00 pm – Dinner and Floor Meetings REQUIRED (resident students only)

Your Resident Assistant will share this information with you on move-in day!

8:00 pm – Acapella Movie Night (Rondileau Campus Center Auditorium)

Celebrate your first night of being on-campus with a performance by BSU’s Acapella Group, Noteworthy, and a Pre-Release of Pitch Perfect 2! Enjoy the movie with all the traditional movie fixings: popcorn, candy and drinks.
